One of the best ways to apply our field grass is to use a thick white (PVA) glue and place a small drop of it where you want the grass to be. Then carefully apply the grass so that it's standing up (or laying flat) in a way that looks natural. The glue dries, typically, to a satin clear finish but is usually not visible.

You are certainly not limited to using just PVA glue however. There are many types of adhesives that will "work" for basing. We are only suggesting the "best" medium for the use with our products.

What's it for?

Field grass is used to cover areas of a base, vignette or diorama in cases where a field of tall grass would grow. The taller the grass is, the more growth (wild) they will appear. Field grass can also be used in our fake water to appear as reeds (water plants). A key thing to remember is to have your field grass locked into place before you add fake water. The grass tends to slide around otherwise.
